It is important when operating Wet Vacuums and Carpet Extraction Machines, that you allow the vacuum motor to continue running for a few minutes after the cleaning operation has been completed. This allows air to flow through the machine, completely drying it out. Then always leave the tank lid ajar, allowing it to ‘air’. If it is not left completely dried out, this allows condensation to form, which at best will shorten the life of the components and at worst cause component failure. Bad odours can also develop due to bacterial growth in the moist conditions
NO! Always only use the dilution recommended on the label of the chemical you are using. if you use to much chemical you will create a chemical residue build up and the carpet will become dirty again very very quickly. Chemical residue attracts dirt.
